Glen Grant 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 12 years and bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
Glen Grant is the only distillery in Scotland to fit copper purifiers to both its wash and spirit stills, which removes heavier congeners and gives a clean, malty spirit. This 12 year old won a Double Gold at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose brings pear, green apple, golden honey, almond and citrus zest. The palate is soft, with baked apple, pear, caramel, vanilla custard and a wisp of cigar smoke. The finish is medium-long, with summer fruits, honey, baking spice and a dry touch of anise and black pepper.
