This is a 15 year old Glen Grant single malt bottled by Signatory. It was distilled on 22 April 1997 and matured in a used hogshead hand-selected by Dennis Malcolm, who began at the distillery as a cooper at 15. It was bottled on 21 August 2012 at 43% ABV (86 proof), without artificial colouring.
The colour is golden honey. The nose offers sweet malt, vanilla, whipped cream and toffee. Orange zest and citrus dominate the palate, balanced by cloves, oak spices and ginger. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of creamy butter.
