Glen Grant 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Grant distillery at Rothes in Speyside, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV.
It spends twelve years maturing in hand-selected ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, and was launched in 2016 under Master Distiller Dennis Malcolm.
Honey, pear and apple lead the nose, with almond and citrus. The palate has apple pie crust, caramel and vanilla over sweet orchard fruit and golden barley, and the finish is lingering fruit with a little spice.
