Glen Grant 15 Year Old Batch Strength is a single malt Scotch whisky from Rothes in Speyside, matured for fifteen years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. This First Edition was released for the American market in 2018 under Master Distiller Dennis Malcolm.
It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle and is non-chill-filtered.
The nose is floral, with orange, apple, honeydew melon, caramel, oak and heather. On the palate come vanilla, honey and apricot marmalade with sweet malt and baking spice, and spiced pear and apricot through the middle. The finish is long and malty, with honey, apple, soft spice and a nutty edge.
