This is Glen Grant 15 Year Old, a Speyside single malt bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's own bottling.
It is matured in oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers ripe apples and pears with soft vanilla and honey. On the palate come almonds, herbs and a restrained spice. The finish is long and pleasantly dry, with a light peppery note.
