This is a 15 year old single malt from Glen Grant, matured in oak casks and bottled at full batch strength. The spirit is distilled in tall copper stills with high necks, a feature of the distillery. On the nose there is honey, vanilla, ripe apple, candied citrus and sweet spice, with hints of toasted oak and dried fruit. The palate is full, warm and velvety, with caramel, malt, cocoa and cinnamon, leading to a long, lingering finish.
