This is a 58 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It comes in a wooden box. The whisky was distilled in 1948 and bottled in 2006, after more than half a century of maturation overseen by Gordon & MacPhail. It has no added colouring. The nose combines ripe fruit, fine malt and vanilla with soft old oak and a subtle nutty depth. The palate is elegant and soft, with ripe fruit sweetness, caramel, spice and well-integrated wood. The finish is long and calm, with malt, gentle sweetness and mature oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
