An old Glen Grant from Speyside, distilled in 1950 and bottled in 2007 at 57 years old by Gordon & MacPhail. It was released at 40% in a 70cl bottle for the series now known as Distillery Labels.
The whisky is a micro batch from two refill sherry casks, numbers 853 and 2734. Its character is described as joining some of the smokiness of 1940s distillate with the dense fruit of the 1950s.
