A 1952 Glen Grant single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Private Collection, matured for 70 years in a single first-fill sherry butt. It was bottled on 6 February 2022, the date of the Queen's accession, to honour the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
The nose brings beeswax, ripe figs, toffee, orange zest, raisins and aged leather. On the palate come blackberry compote, clementine, milk chocolate and black pepper, with a hint of wood smoke that lingers into the finish.
