A Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, distilled in 1953 and bottled sixty years later, in 2013, by Gordon & MacPhail. It was matured for six decades in oak and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose shows clear sherry influence, with stewed apples, beeswax and lemon, and a subtle menthol edge that develops. The palate is peppery at first, with orange and dark chocolate flavours and a lingering bonfire-ember note. The finish is long, with a subtle smokiness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
