This is a 65 year old Glen Grant, distilled in 1956 and bottled in 2021 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 55.4% ABV. The whisky matured in a first-fill ex-sherry butt, and only 180 bottles were filled worldwide. It is described as remarkably fresh, with aromas and flavours that keep a youthful spirit despite the decades in cask. It is seen as a fine, delicate whisky in a style from another era.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
