This is a 63-year-old Glen Grant from Speyside, distilled in 1959 and bottled in 2022 by Gordon & MacPhail at 56.5%. It comes from cask #3665, the last cask of the vintage in the company's stock.
It is the Third Edition of the Mr. George Legacy series, a tribute to Mr George Urquhart, of the second generation of the family that owns Gordon & MacPhail. The principles he followed remain at the heart of the business, which has been bottling single malt Scotch whisky for more than 125 years.
