A 57 year old single malt from Glen Grant in Speyside, distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Dram Takers Collection. It matured in a single refill sherry hogshead and was bottled at 48.5% ABV in a run of 64 bottles, without added colour or chill-filtration.
The design of the collection takes its inspiration from the Book of Kells.
The nose is described as bright apple and lively citrus with soft vanilla and gentle oak spice. The palate brings delicate chocolate, orchard fruit and fine citrus notes, and the finish is very long, with aniseed, roasted notes and old oak.
