This is a 43 year old Glen Grant from the Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection, a single cask Speyside malt from cask 12399. It was distilled on 22 November 1976 and bottled on 15 September 2020 at 42% ABV, without added colour and without chill-filtration. The cask gave 125 bottles.
Tasting notes describe ripe fruit, vanilla and malt on the nose, with oak and gentle spice. The palate is soft and layered, with ripe orchard fruit, a light sweetness, nuts and well-integrated wood. The finish is long and balanced, with dry oak, fruit and a little spice.
