This Glen Grant is an 18-year-old single cask from Speyside, bottled at cask strength, 54.9% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour. The whisky was distilled on 11 March 2008 and matured in a refill sherry hogshead, originally from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society's stock, before being bottled on 28 September 2026. The cask yielded 206 bottles.
The nose is raisins, dates, orange peel and roasted cashews, with well-integrated sherry, subtle spice and soft oak. The palate starts powerfully, with dried fruit, raisins and dates alongside nutty flavours, and an oily mouthfeel. The finish is long.
