Glen Grant 25 Year Old is the 2024 release from the Speyside distillery, which was founded in 1840. It was matured for 25 years in American oak and European oak casks, including ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
Dried apricot, honey and rich toffee lead the nose, with a touch of cinnamon. The palate has ripe orchard fruit, creamy vanilla and subtle oak, with dark chocolate and a little nutmeg. The finish is long and warming, with sweet sherry and a delicate smokiness.
