A 26-year-old Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 49.9%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The whisky matured in a refill American hogshead, cask number 59912.
The nose offers ripe apples, honey, vanilla and fine floral notes, with vanilla pods and poached pears. The palate is soft, with caramel, candied citrus, almonds and gentle oak spice. The finish is long, with malt, subtle spice and a creamy texture.
