Glen Grant 27 Year Old The Entertainer 1995 - Wemyss Malts Single Cask Release (46%)

A 27-year-old single cask Glen Grant from Speyside, named The Entertainer by Wemyss Malts. It was distilled in 1995, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. 184 bottles were filled. The long maturation gave a soft character, with sweet fruit and fresh lemon leading to a big caramel finish. The nose brings bananas, apricots and perhaps stewed fruit. The palate is lightly lemony, with cereal, apples and pears, and the finish is long, with malty caramel, poached pear and a hint of citrus.
