This is a 30 year old Glen Grant single malt from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage for its Symington's Choice series. It was distilled in 1995 and matured in a single bourbon barrel, number 88231, until it was bottled in 2025.
It comes at a cask strength of 49.5%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour, from an edition of 160 bottles in a 70cl size.
The nose offers ripe pears, vanilla pod, honeycomb, citrus blossom and gentle oak spice. The palate is silky and balanced, with sweet malt, creamy vanilla, baked apples, mango and subtle floral touches. The finish is long and delicate, with orchard fruit, vanilla sweetness and polished oak.
