This is a 30 year old Glen Grant, the twenty second release in the Whiskyland series from Decadent Drinks. The Speyside single malt combines two casks, a 1993 refill barrel and a 1995 first-fill sherry hogshead, married at a natural strength of 46.8% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle, from 177 bottles in all.
Tasting notes describe old style sherry richness, with Madeira cake, dark chocolate, hessian and aged wine, plus a hint of warehouse must and prune liqueur.
