A 5 year old single malt from Glen Grant, distilled in 1978 and bottled at 40% ABV. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
The nose opens with lemon cream and parma violets, alongside Danish pastries, damp ferns, vanilla cream and buttery sweetness. There are also notes of apple skin, coconut and a touch of sap from American oak.
The palate is floral, with violet and honeysuckle, then barrel char, sweet icing, linseed oil, fresh and stewed apples and a little oaky spice. The finish is short, with apple pie and wood chips.
