Glen Grant – Exploration No. 1 (70cl, 48%)

Glen Grant Exploration No. 1 is a Speyside single malt without an age statement, bottled at 48% without chill filtration. It was launched in 2025 as a limited edition. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Caribbean rum casks, a tropical new direction for a distillery founded in 1840. The nose is spice and dark sugar with ripe banana. On the palate there is orange and vanilla with a tropical note, and the finish is lasting, with creamy pineapple.
