Glen Keith stands in the small town of Keith on the banks of the River Isla, directly across from Strathisla. Chivas Brothers built it in 1957 on the site of a former grain mill, and it was the first distillery newly built in Scotland since 1900. It closed in 1999 and has been working again since 2013 under its present owner, Pernod Ricard.
