Glen Keith 1996 is a single cask Speyside malt, bottled at 26 years old and 58% abv for Signatory's Symington's Choice range. The casks in that range are selected by Andrew Symington, are at least 25 years old and are bottled in very small numbers. This one was matured in a second-fill sherry butt. The distillery opened in 1958 and is described as classic Speyside in style, with flowers, toffee and spice. In this bottling, notes of gingerbread, dark syrup and malt come through on both nose and palate, and the finish lingers long after the last drop.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
