A 26 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Keith, distilled in 1998 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. It was matured in a single refill American oak hogshead, and 193 bottles were drawn from the cask. It is bottled at 54.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is Seville orange peel with ripe red apple and floral notes, then vanilla fudge, passionfruit and a hint of fresh-cut grass. On the palate come smooth pineapple and watermelon, then spicy pepper, desiccated coconut, subtle grapefruit and mature oak. The finish is full and spicy, with lingering citrus and soft aniseed.
