This is a special release of Glen Moray 12, a Speyside single malt issued as a limited edition in 1997 to mark 100 years of whisky making since the distillery's founding in 1897. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is crisp green apple skin and rhubarb boiled sweets, with buttery shortbread and subtly herbaceous oak. The palate is chewy barley with a drizzle of syrup, a touch of apricot and crushed honey-roasted nuts, and the finish is white chocolate and oak.
