First fill Tojaki wine hogshead
A 13 year old Glen Moray distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024 by Dram Mor from a single first-fill Tojaki wine hogshead. The cask gave 222 bottles at 56% ABV, each in a 70cl bottle. Dram Mor is an independent bottler set up in 2019 by Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald. The colour is jasmine yellow. The nose is quieter than expected for its age. On the palate it is sweet without being too sweet, with gentle melon and honey nut crunch, while the malty, slightly citric character of Glen Moray comes through.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
