This is a 28 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, bottled as single cask 35.109 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society under the name A Class Act. It carries a 1985 vintage, 128 bottles were produced, and it was released only in the USA, in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings Millionaire's shortbread, lemon, orange, banana marzipan, baked apple filled with pecan, cinnamon and raisins, brandy butter ice cream, sandalwood and fresh tobacco leaf. The palate is silky, like runny honey or toffee sauce, with Sauternes-soaked raisins coated in dark chocolate.
