Glen Moray Mastery is a Speyside single malt made to mark the distillery's 120th anniversary. It is a multi-vintage bottling drawing on select Glen Moray whiskies, including older parcels, and is bottled at 52.3% ABV in a 70cl decanter.
The whisky was matured in fortified wine casks, including sherry, port and Madeira. Only 1,000 decanters were produced.
The nose offers raisins, prunes, dark berries, orange peel, caramel and toasted oak. On the palate there are dried fruit, port wine sweetness, toffee, dark chocolate and candied citrus, followed by a long, warming finish of fruitcake, oak, spice and cocoa.
