Glen Scotia 10 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt from a distillery founded in 1832, one of three still working in the town. It is matured entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings toffee, vanilla, heather honey and a salty, maritime edge, with green apple and lemon peel. On the palate it is sweet with vanilla, honey and spice, then marmalade, gingerbread and spiced apple. The finish runs to fudge, cinnamon and ground ginger.
