Glen Scotia – 12 Year Old Icons of Campbeltown No.3 The Wulver (70cl, 51.7%)

This is the third release in the Icons of Campbeltown series from Glen Scotia, a 12 year old Campbeltown single malt named after The Wulver, a figure from local folklore. It was bottled in 2025 at 51.7% in a 70cl bottle. Master blender Iain McAlister matured the whisky first in first fill bourbon casks, then finished it for nine months in first fill Tawny Port casks. It is bottled at cask strength, non-chill-filtered and in natural colour. The aromas are of dark fruits, intense sweetness and chocolate, alongside the salty, maritime character of the region.
