Glen Scotia 18 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It spent 17 years in refill bourbon barrels and American oak hogsheads, then a further 12 months in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings floral blossom, sea spray, vanilla and dried fruit. On the palate there is baked apple, toffee, subtle spice and a touch of toasted almond.
The finish is long and warming, with soft oak, orange peel, sherry sweetness and a gentle maritime saltiness.
