Glen Scotia – Victoriana

A single malt Scotch from Glen Scotia, finished in deep charred oak and bottled straight from the cask without filtration. Its wood and vanilla flavour is lifted by a full-bodied, spicy fruit aroma and a mildly smoky aftertaste. The nose is elegant, with oak, creme brulee, caramelised fruits and polished oak. The palate starts sweet and concentrated with jammy blackcurrant, and turns more austere with water. The finish is clean and initially sweet, with green bean and cocoa.
