Glen Scotia – 2000 Stillman's Reserve 16 Year Old (59.7%)

This is a Glen Scotia single malt from Campbeltown, released as the 2000 Stillman's Reserve. It honours head stillman Jim Grogan's 40 years of dedication, and the release is limited to 186 bottles. The whisky was distilled on 7 July 2000 and bottled in 2016 at 16 years old, at 59.7% ABV. The nose offers ripe peaches, apricots and a touch of vanilla spice. Toffee, dark chocolate and roasted almonds come through on the palate, and the long, warming finish brings sweet molasses and gentle smoke.
