Glen Scotia 2016 7 Year Old Exclusive Cask is a Campbeltown single malt bottled for the 2024 Campbeltown Malts Festival. Only 220 bottles were produced, at a cask strength of 57.2%.
It was matured in a first-fill Ruby Port hogshead and is unfiltered and natural in colour.
The nose brings ripe peaches, raspberries, clementines and dried apricots, with cinnamon, fresh mint and toasted oak. On the palate there are peaches, vanilla fudge, buttery pastry, ginger cordial and crisp green apple. The finish is long, with dry oak and a maritime saltiness.
