Glen Scotia 25 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 48.8% in a 750ml bottle. It was launched at the 2017 Campbeltown Malts Festival.
The whisky was matured in American oak barrels, then married for 12 months in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
In the tasting notes, the nose brings vanilla oak, sea spray and green apple, while the palate has tangy orange, red apple and a little peat smoke. The finish is long, with sea salt, ground ginger and peppercorn.
