A single malt Scotch whisky in the maritime Glen Scotia style, with fruity notes that take it towards the Caribbean.
It was matured in American oak casks and finished in Demerara rum casks from Guyana, giving an exotic, tropical aroma. Notes of caramelised sugar and tropical fruits characterise the dram.
Records from 1815 show that rum casks were already traded in Campbeltown's Victorian port before Glen Scotia was founded, and this history inspired the new Double Cask with rum cask finish.
