Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and then finished for a minimum of eight months in Guyanese demerara rum casks from the Diamond Distillery.
Released in late 2022 as a small-batch extension to the Double Cask series, which is normally finished in PX sherry, it is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
Official notes describe cooked sugar, molasses and tropical fruit such as coconut, banana and sweet peach, over the distillery's oils, sea spray, ripe fruit and spice. The finish is saline.
