Glen Scotia Double Cask is a single malt from Campbeltown, in the west of Scotland. It is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
The name refers to its two stages of maturation: first-fill bourbon casks, then up to 12 months in casks that held the sweet sherry Pedro Ximénez.
The colour is golden. The nose is fudgy and caramelised, with baked apples, peach and syrup. The palate is rich and lightly sweet, with more fudge and peach and a touch of mint.
