An unpeated 9-year-old single malt from Glen Scotia in Campbeltown, released for the 2024 Campbeltown Malts Festival. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and then finished for a minimum of six months in Fino sherry casks. Each bottle carries a QR code linking to The Sound of Glen Scotia, a musical collaboration built from distillery sounds.
The nose is fresh and floral. The palate is full-bodied, with lemon citrus, white orchard fruit and oak spice. The finish is long and dry, with the distillery's maritime, salty character.
