Glen Scotia Victoriana is a cask-strength Campbeltown single malt in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 54.2% ABV. It is a tribute to the Victorian era, when Campbeltown was known as the Whisky Capital of the World, and it is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The whisky matures in first- and second-fill bourbon casks, then spends up to 12 months in heavily charred bourbon barrels and Pedro Ximenez sherry butts, before being married for a further six months. On the nose there are crème brûlée, melted sugars, caramelised fruit and oak. The palate is full-bodied, with roasted sugars, blackcurrants, molasses, warming spice and a thread of light wood smoke. The finish is firm and dry, lingering on cocoa, dark chocolate and dark red fruits.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
