GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Batch 8 is a Speyside single malt bottled at a cask strength of 57.2%. It is unfiltered and made from a selection of Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso and virgin oak casks.
The nose brings mocha, nutmeg and warm walnut oil. Heather honey, dried red berries and sweet raisins coat the palate, with cinnamon and sticky molasses behind them. The finish stays on honeycomb and dark chocolate, with ginger spice and a little fennel.
