The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 7 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 56.8% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour. It is the seventh release of this cask strength ten-year-old.
The batch combines Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons with a small amount of virgin oak and Rioja casks. The whisky is a rich mahogany colour.
The nose has heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by orange peel, mocha and treacle. On the palate come dark chocolate, figs and heather honey, with raisins, cinnamon, plums and orange zest.
