This is the eighth batch of GlenAllachie's 10 year old cask strength single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 57.2% ABV. It is bottled without chill-filtration and at natural colour.
Master Blender Billy Walker, who marks five decades in the whisky industry this year, vatted whisky from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons. A small quantity from Virgin Oak and Rioja casks is added to the mix.
The whisky is described as having tangy orange, rich mocha and sweet spices.
