A 10-year-old Glenallachie single malt from Speyside, bottled at cask strength, 57.2%, in a 70cl bottle. This is batch 8 of the cask strength series.
The nose is full of mocha, nutmeg and walnut oil, with heather honey, sweet raisins and dried red berries. The palate brings plenty of cinnamon spice, molasses and honeycomb, then ginger, espresso and dark chocolate. Hints of nutmeg and fennel appear in the finish.
