A 10-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenallachie, bottled at a cask strength of 58.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This is a limited release, batch 9.
It was matured in PX and Oloroso casks, virgin oak barrels and Rioja wine barriques.
The nose combines ripe red berries, hazelnuts and heather honey with orchard fruits, cinnamon and gingersnaps. The palate brings dark chocolate, honeycomb and caramelised demerara sugar, then treacle, mocha and ginger. Plum and toffee come through on the finish.
