This is an 11 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition finished in Premier Cru Classé casks.
The whisky first matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels. It then spent a further two years in French oak wine barriques from Bordeaux, selected for the finish.
The nose is described as dark chocolate and honey with subtle hints of fresh fruit. The palate brings smooth caramel and heather honey, followed by a delicate oak finish.
