GlenAllachie – 12 Year Old 2007 - #3767 UK Exclusive is a single malt whisky from GlenAllachie (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 60.8% ABV, 70cl. Built and founded in 1967, The GlenAllachie malt whisky distillery was overseen by Mackinlay McPherson. A few years later in 1985 it was bought and mothballed by Invergordon Distillers. 1989 saw it bought by Campbell Distillers who looked to breathe new life into it. Its most recent history sees the master Billy Walker at the helm with Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage by his side. Famous for their single cask releases and their sherried expressions, this distillery is one of the most exciting ones of modern times. Distilled 01.05.2007, this Glenallachie was laid to rest and mature for 12 years in a Maderia Hogshead #3767 and was bottled in Aug 2019. Only 291 bottles were available and it was bottled exclusively to the UK.
