GlenAllachie – 12 Year Old 2008/2020 (Duncan Taylor) (70cl, 55.2%)

GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from independent bottler Duncan Taylor, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2020. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.2% in a 70cl bottle, with no chill-filtration, no added colour and no added water. Only 348 bottles were filled, and the character is led by sherry. Tasting notes describe orange zest, raisins, coffee and ginger on the nose. The palate is intense and full, with sherry, dates, nuts and raisins. The finish is long and complex, with berries and spice.
