GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt finished in Moscatel wood, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in bourbon barrels before a final period in sweet Moscatel barriques chosen specially for GlenAllachie. This edition was bottled for the European market.
The distillery has been run by Billy Walker since he took it over, and is associated with long fermentation times and careful cask selection.
